Rotomolding Production Process

The basic process of rotational moulding is very simple, is a powder or liquid polymer placed in the mold, heating at around two vertical axis rotation (rotation and revolution).

Application of mold release agent: mold release agent is used to facilitate the removal of the product from the mold, and can effectively avoid the adhesion between the product and the mold caused by the large amount of product damage phenomenon.

Insert installation and related accessories: insert molding mainly locally reinforced parts, molding accessories is mainly that of rib forming or special parts with the module, they must be in the mold before adding materials properly installed in the new set position;

Charging: before adding materials should be strictly measured, when need to add additives, also need to be pre mixed components. The weight of the powder resin which is required to accurately take the final part is added to the bottom of the separating mould, and then the 2.5 die is fastened together and is arranged on the bearing shaft;

Closed die: before the mold should be noted to remove the residual material in the mold, to ensure that the two sides of the surface integrity, in order to avoid the process of material leakage;

Heating: the mold material installed into the heating furnace (or other gas flame heating), set the temperature of the heating furnace in the resin above the melting point, with each other around the vertical frame at the same time, the two axis of rotation, the public. In the process of rotation to mold heating to a predetermined temperature insulation material in the rotation, heating gradually melting, heavy orange in the die cavity on the entire inner wall and the material into the gas gradually eliminated, until forming good parts.

Cooling setting:when the resin is fully melted, the mold is transferred to the cooling chamber, cooling, where it continues to rotate, while cooling by forced ventilation or water spray.

Stripping and cleaning mold: the former to avoid stripping damage products, the latter will be on the mold of the remaining materials and debris clean, for the next cycle of preparation to prepare.
